Yadin put on tefillin this morning at camp for the first time. His bar mitzvah is exactly one month away. All of his grandparents were here, as was Aleza and Leor, his new cousin. Zoey managed to sneak out and come as well.
It was really a special moment and I'm glad that everyone was there to share. You could see his pride on his face, even if he's a bit bedazzled by how to put the tefillin on and take them off. I can't even remember learning how to put on tefillin, but I can tell you, it's not easy teaching someone else how to do it.
